Gloria Wong-Padoongpatt Receives AAPA Dissertation Research Grant – Honorable Mention (5/29/15)

Gloria Wong-Padoongpatt received a 2015 Asian American Psychological Association Dissertation Research Grant – Honorable Mention for her dissertation titled: Impact, Mechanisms, and Individual Variations in the Stress Response to Racial Microaggressions among Asian Americans. Gloria will present her dissertation research at the 2016 AAPA Convention in Denver, Colorado. AAPA Dissertation Research Grant Proposals are for the initiation or completion of a dissertation, which has implications for the field of Asian American Psychology. A grant is awarded to the student with the most outstanding research proposal. Each year, there are also two honorable mentions; all three students present their research in a symposium at the next AAPA convention.
