An AACDR project, “Enhancing Outcomes for Immigrant Populations Through a Cultural Movement Intervention,” was recently highlighted in an AAMC Health Equity Research Virtual Site Visit (VSV) feature on UC Davis. UC Davis was selected for its cutting-edge research, innovative education, community engagement, and patient-centered care.
In 2014, the AAMC created a new resource, Health Equity Virtual Site Visit, to highlight the outstanding health equity research portfolio at AAMC member institutions. The UC Davis School of Medicine is featured as the third Virtual Site Visit, and features videos, webinars, presentations, journal articles, and other resources from four health equity research-focused centers at UC Davis that reflect the cutting edge research, novel curricula, and innovative care delivery that can contribute to the evidence base for minimizing health and health care gaps.
